CHEMO CARE PACKAGING EVENT UPDATE

Volunteers,

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your unwavering dedication and support to our cause. Your commitment to making a difference in the lives of those battling cancer has been nothing short of inspiring. We have an important update regarding our Chemo Care Package Assembly Event. After careful consideration and consultation with our partner oncology centers, we have made the decision to suspend our chemo care pkg event and program going forward. We understand this may come as a disappointment, but we believe it's a necessary step in ensuring our resources are allocated where they are most impactful.

There are a few key reasons behind this decision. Firstly, we've received feedback from the oncology centers indicating a shortage of space to store these packages. Given the constraints they are facing, we want to respect their needs and work collaboratively to find solutions. Additionally, we've been informed that more and more organizations are already providing similar packages to patients. While we're proud of the work we've done through this program, we recognize the importance of adapting to the evolving landscape and focusing our efforts where they can make the most significant difference.

Moving forward, we will be directing our energy and resources toward programs that have been identified as truly life-saving by our oncologists. Our Gas/Grocery Card Program and Comfort Care Solutions Program (which provides vital assistance to those struggling financially and in need of essential items such as wigs, lymphedema products, and mastectomy bras) have been highlighted as instrumental in improving the quality of life for cancer patients. Your continued support of these programs is invaluable, and we are confident that together, we can continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those in need. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make the chemo care pkg program great!Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and ongoing dedication to our mission. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
